Britain will extend visas for Ukrainian refugees: terms.
The United Kingdom will extend visas for Ukrainian refugees
According to information from the UK Home Office, the duration of visas for Ukrainian refugees will be extended by 18 months. This was reported by Reuters.
Ukrainian refugees in the United Kingdom are granted a special category of visas with a validity period of three years. The first such visas were issued in March 2022 and are valid until March 2025.
These visas allow refugees to work, receive education, medical care, and social benefits in Britain.
The decision of the Home Office will allow 283 thousand Ukrainians to continue their stay in the country. This will be welcome news for many Ukrainian refugees seeking asylum and an opportunity to start a new life in the United Kingdom.

It should be recalled that the Czech Republic also plans to extend the restrictions on issuing visas to citizens of the Russian Federation and Belarus. This decision will be the next step in the country's efforts to combat illegal immigration and security threats. The Czech Republic prioritizes the safety of its citizens and the legal procedures in visa issuance for foreign nationals.
