According to inkorr.com: The Royal Air Force of the United Kingdom carried out a 12-hour mission alongside American and NATO forces, patrolling the border of Russia. This was reported by the British Ministry of Defence on Saturday, October 11.

According to Reuters, this operation was a response to recent incursions by Russian drones and aircraft into the airspace of NATO member countries.

'This was a significant joint mission with our allies from the USA and NATO,' said Defence Minister John Healey. He added that such an operation 'not only provides valuable intelligence for increasing the operational awareness of our Armed Forces but also sends a strong signal of NATO unity to Putin and our adversaries.'

On Thursday, two British aircraft - RC-135 Rivet Joint (electronic reconnaissance aircraft) and P-8A Poseidon (maritime patrol aircraft) - flew from the Arctic region through Belarus and Ukraine. The operation was supported by the American KC-135 tanker of the US Air Force.

The British Ministry of Defence added that this mission was initiated following unauthorized entries into the airspace of NATO member countries, including Poland, Romania, and Estonia.

This joint activity highlights the increasing activity of Russian drones and aircraft in the skies over NATO countries and is an important sign of unity among allies in ensuring collective security.

Such missions demonstrate not only military readiness but also the ability to protect airspace through the efforts of an international coalition. In the context of rising tensions in the region, such actions become essential for maintaining stability and controlling the situation.
