Scot Grigor fell off his motorcycle approaching the Goddard corner, resulting in his vehicle colliding with Isle of Man competitor Nathan Harrison.

27-year-old Harrison also sustained injuries and is undergoing treatment in the hospital. According to organizers, he has an 'isolated limb injury'.

Grigor was immediately operated on at the scene and placed in a medically induced coma before being transported to the hospital.

“In the Pirelli National Superstock Championship race at Donington Park today (Saturday), Callum Grigor was involved in a crash on the first lap while approaching the Goddard corner.

“He and his motorcycle collided with Nathan Harrison, who also fell.

“The race was immediately stopped, and both riders received medical assistance from the BSB team.

“Callum Grigor was found in serious condition and required urgent intervention at the scene, including being placed in a medically induced coma.

“Nathan Harrison was treated in the medical center for an isolated limb injury.

“Both riders were transferred to the major trauma center at Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham for further evaluation and treatment.

“Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.”
