Ukraine Introduces New Drafting Rules: Who Won't Be Saved from Mobilization

According to inkorr.com: Mobilization is ongoing in Ukraine. Men who are subject to conscription receive summons and may be included in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. However, some categories obligated to serve may receive deferment through the reservation system.

The question arises: can an enterprise arrange a reservation for an employee who has committed violations in the field of military registration and is wanted?

Legal experts explained that current legislation does not allow for granting deferment to those who are wanted and includes them in special military lists.

According to paragraph 29 of the relevant normative act, automatic enrollment of a person in a special military register during the deferment is possible only under certain conditions: the person must be on military registration, officially employed, update their military registration data, and not be wanted.

It should be noted that Ukraine continues to implement the process of mobilizing military personnel. However, employers are prohibited from reserving employees who are wanted or have violations in the field of military registration. Such situations can negatively affect military registration and cause serious consequences for these employees.

In summary, compliance with the legislation in the field of military registration remains critically important for the effectiveness of mobilization. Employers must understand that reserving individuals who already have violations can lead to additional complications for both them and the employees who often find themselves in difficult legal situations.
