Budanov is entering the political arena: expert on the ambitions of the head of GUR and changes in Ukraine.
Budanov's Political Maturity
Schneider believes that Budanov's recent statements indicate his emergence as a politician of national scale. According to the expert, this is shown by his words about the desire to make the country great, which reflects political maturity and motivation for change.
“The latest interview of our GUR head Kyrylo Budanov once again confirmed that he is not just the head of the special service, but a politician of national scale. Of course, it is important for a modern Ukrainian statesman to demonstrate not only competence in military and intelligence matters, but also a clear vision of the country’s development. And Budanov does this perfectly,” Schneider emphasized.
Schneider noted that Budanov's statement about the desire to make the country great is ambitious and indicates his motivation to radically change the country.
In particular, Budanov expressed his position: “My task is to make the country great. I am not interested in small results.”
The political expert also noted that Budanov emphasizes the importance of unity as the main factor for security, defense, development, and international stance.
Budanov also shared his thoughts on possible scenarios for the end of the war in Ukraine and the future of Russia after Putin's death.
During the analysis of Kyrylo Budanov's speech, political expert Mikhail Schneider emphasized that the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine demonstrates not only competence in military matters but also a deep vision for the country's development and has the motivation to implement changes.Read also
