Ukraine's Security Service Strikes Crimea: Over a Dozen Russian Military and Logistics Sites Hit.
SBU Conducts Major Operation in Crimea
According to UATV: On July 13, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) carried out a targeted operation in occupied Crimea, damaging more than ten Russian military, logistics, and fuel storage facilities. This action is part of Kyiv's broader campaign to degrade the infrastructure that supports Moscow's aggression on Ukrainian soil.
Targets and Impact
Among the sites struck were hangars housing military equipment at the Bagerovo airbase, three stationary radar stations, and two patrol boats. The attack also hit automobile ferries in Kerch and the port of Kavkaz, as well as fuel storage tanks at an oil depot in Stavropol Krai. These strikes reflect a deliberate Ukrainian strategy to cripple enemy military logistics in the region.
As of now, the operation has sparked discussion among analysts and observers, who are assessing its impact on the situation in Crimea. The SBU continues its efforts to safeguard national security and protect Ukraine's territorial integrity.
This special operation stands out as a clear example of intensified Ukrainian military actions on occupied territory, potentially signaling a shift in strategy amid the protracted conflict.
The significance of such measures lies in reducing the Russian military's ability to conduct combat operations and ensuring the security of Ukrainian lands. Future assessments of this operation's consequences could shape regional developments and the strategies of both sides in the conflict.
