The plans of the occupiers for Ukraine until 2024
Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov spoke about the plans of the occupiers regarding Ukraine until 2024. According to him, the main goal is to gain control over Ukraine by any means, and the minimum goal is to reach the administrative borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. In addition, he stated that Crimea can be returned under the control of Ukraine.
Earlier, Kyrylo Budanov spoke about the work on the preparation for the destruction of the Crimean Bridge. There is a possibility that this could happen as early as this year. Russia is trying to ensure security at this facility, so it has blocked the Kerch Strait.
«The maximum task is to gain control over Ukraine by any means. Absolutely any means. The minimum task, and it is currently the only one, is to reach the administrative borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. It has not changed at all», - said Kyrylo Budanov.
The temporarily occupied Crimea can be cut off from supplies and returned under the control of Ukraine – said Budanov.
