Budanov honored the defenders and spoke about the personal cost of being a father.
Today, June 15, Ukrainians are celebrating Father's Day. The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, addressed citizens on this occasion, emphasizing the importance of fatherhood in wartime.
In his address, Kyrylo Budanov highlighted that being a father means, first and foremost, being ready to take on responsibility: 'for the family, for the home, for the country'. It also means being capable of making difficult decisions and bearing responsibility for their consequences.
Kyrylo Budanov noted that hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian men daily prove their readiness to bear responsibility for the future of the family, protecting children, loved ones, and the country in the ranks of the Ukrainian military, including military intelligence units.
The head of intelligence stressed the importance of the sacrifices made by fathers, who give up their time and opportunities so that their children have a future in a free country. He also expressed gratitude to all those who are forging Ukraine's victory and setting an example for future generations.
In connection with Father's Day, it is important to honor those who are continuously working for the benefit of their children and the country, bearing great responsibility and sacrificing their time and efforts for the common good.
