According to The Sun: A new festive chocolate from Cadbury has appeared in supermarkets, which consumers have been eagerly waiting for. This product has returned to the shelves a year after its predecessor was discontinued.

Although Christmas is still far away, the gloomy weather and short days have already set many Britons up for cozy evenings with their favorite festive treats.

Without waiting for December, you can already enjoy the new sweets, as producers have started releasing Christmas assortments.

Snack fans have already noticed that Cadbury Festive Animals cookies have appeared on Tesco shelves.

A 119-gram bag costs £1.50 and contains animal-shaped cookies under a layer of delicious Cadbury chocolate.

Inside the package, there are six servings, each containing only 97 calories — the perfect option for sweet lovers.

A Facebook user, excited about the new product, shared a photo of the cookies on Tesco shelves.

Sweets fans have already started actively discussing the new product in the comments.

“The time has come!”
“I love them!”

However, not everyone is thrilled; some have noted that the only thing that really reminds them of the holiday is the packaging with snowy motifs.

“What makes a monkey, an elephant, a lion, and a pig festive?”

Another commentator added: “The only festive thing is the packaging.”

“Festive friends are what everyone wants to buy every year!”

Cancellation of festive friends

Last year, Cadbury announced that the popular Festive Friends cookies would not return, disappointing many fans.

These cookies were similar to the new product but were shaped like festive characters such as Santa and reindeers.

On the X platform in 2024, Cadbury stated:

“Our Cadbury Festive Friends will not return this year, but don’t worry, we have new Cadbury Festive Animals for you.”

This news caused disappointment among many fans: one of them even wrote: “I’ve been eating festive friends since childhood. Losing them is like losing Santa.”

Another commentator shared their emotions: “Christmas is already ruined, and it’s only September... frustrated.”

However, chocolate fans were pleased when they saw the new Cadbury Christmas assortment at B&M.

Cadbury Favourites includes 11 different chocolates that have been imported from Australia.

A 265-gram package has several unique treats that are hard to find in the UK, such as Dream Bar.

Cadbury continues to experiment, trying to meet the requests of fans by offering new exciting products. The discussions around the festive novelties indicate how important it is for consumers to have access to their favorite treats during the holiday season.
