Casemiro returns to Manchester United: ready for the derby against MC.
According to The Sun: Casemiro returned to Manchester after being suspended for the final qualifier match for the 2026 World Cup with Brazil.
Training before the derby
The legendary midfielder is already actively training at Carrington, preparing for the Manchester derby that will take place on Sunday at the 'Etihad' stadium.

The reason for Casemiro's return was a yellow card received in the match against Chile (3-0), which prevented him from playing against Bolivia. During the game, his goal was canceled for offside, and he also avoided a red card when he fouled Vincent Pizarro.
His disappointment was evident during the cold encounter on the field with the 18-year-old 'Chelsea' star Estevano. Although the young player tried to encourage him, Casemiro did not respond.
Instead of staying with his family in South America, Casemiro was given permission to return to England to prepare for the match against Manchester City.
Changes in the lineup
The 33-year-old player has become an unexpected candidate for a starting position in Carlo Ancelotti's team after two years without national team calls. Currently, Brazil has already secured its place at next summer's World Cup.
In his absence, the role of defensive midfielder may be filled by Bruno Guimarães from 'Newcastle' and Andriy Santos from 'Chelsea'.
Casemiro looks more prepared this season after accusations of being overweight, returning to the main lineup of 'United' at the end of last season.
After playing the first three matches in the Premier League this season, he is likely to be seen again alongside captain Bruno Fernandes in the match against Pep Guardiola's team this weekend.

Following the latest penalty from Fernandes that secured 'United's first win of the campaign against 'Bournemouth', the team has not yet shown the kind of game expected in the home match against the league newcomer.
Casemiro's return is expected to strengthen the team in the upcoming derby and help 'Man United' improve their results in the season. The player is crucial in midfield, and his experience could be decisive in the encounter with 'City'.
