Kherson region has unique advantages, but GDP per capita is 40% lower.
The development of infrastructure in the Kherson region is impressive: a seaport, an airport, and a great potential for economic growth. For instance, the company 'Henkel Bautechnik' is one of the largest enterprises with foreign investments in the region. Despite this, the economic development of the area remains at a low level, but the authorities plan to invest money in development and investment programs to stimulate business and tourism.
Although the Kherson region has a significant potential for development in various sectors, the current economic indicators of the region remain significantly below the national average for Ukraine. However, with the introduction of new investment projects and the reconstruction of the airport, an improvement in the situation can be expected in the future.
