Poltava invests 3 billion UAH in gas production: how it will change the region's economy.
Animal husbandry and beekeeping are strong sectors in Poltava. The region is known for its large number of animals, high production rates of milk, meat, eggs, and honey. There are also significant elevator capacities that can hold 3.6 million tons of grain annually. The Poltava Mining and Processing Plant and large machine-building enterprises such as AvtoKrAZ and Kryukov Car Building Works add to the region's industrial potential.
The economic development and infrastructure in the region are gradually improving. High economic growth rates are linked to rising prices for products and a favorable foreign trade situation. Poltava has important transport routes, but its own airport is underdeveloped, which complicates the full development of international contacts.
Foreign investments are also actively reflected in the region's economy. The Poltava Gas and Oil Company and other enterprises with foreign investments support the development of the region, which gives hope for further increase in industrial activity in Poltava.
