March 17 Border Queues in Ukraine: Where Vehicle Congestion Is Worst.
Border Crossing Update for Ukraine
According to Novyny.live: On March 17, 2023, certain checkpoints along Ukraine's border are experiencing vehicle backlogs. Border guards advise travelers to factor this into their trip planning. As of 12:00 PM, there are almost no queues for departing Ukraine, except at a few specific locations.
At the following checkpoints, no lines are present:
- Yahodyn
- Uhryniv
- Rava-Ruska
- Hrushiv
- Krakivets
- Smilnytsia
- Nyzhankovychi
However, at the 'Ustyluh' checkpoint, 30 passenger cars and 1 bus are waiting, while 'Shehyni' has 20 passenger cars in line.
Queues at Borders with Neighboring Countries
Regarding crossings into neighboring states—Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, and Moldova—no queues have been reported. This indicates a relatively calm situation along these routes.
Ukrainian citizens planning trips should monitor checkpoint queue data to avoid potential delays.
The overall border situation in Ukraine shows that, despite isolated backlogs, crossing generally proceeds without major holdups. This is important for travelers, as it helps them steer clear of extra difficulties during their journeys. Since conditions can shift rapidly, staying updated with official news and border guard announcements is recommended.
