Ukraine Border Situation as of March 11, 2023

According to Novyny.live: As of March 11, 2023, significant queues for departure are no longer being observed at Ukraine's borders. Data from 09:00 indicates that the situation at the entry-exit checkpoints shows an absence of major vehicle build-ups. This marks a notable change from the extensive delays often seen at these crossings since the full-scale invasion began.

At the 'Yahodyn' checkpoint, no buses or passenger cars were recorded, and pedestrian crossing is not being conducted. A similar situation is observed at the checkpoints 'Ustyluh', 'Uhryniv', 'Rava-Ruska', 'Hrushiv', and 'Krakivets', where there are also no passenger cars or buses, and pedestrian crossing is not taking place.

At the 'Shehyni' checkpoint, 25 passenger cars were recorded, with pedestrian crossing occurring in both directions. At the 'Malyi Bereznyi' and 'Diakove' checkpoints, there are no passenger cars, buses, or pedestrians, with pedestrian crossing not being conducted at 'Diakove'. At the 'Uzhhorod' checkpoint, 6 passenger cars were recorded, and pedestrian crossing is also being conducted in both directions.

Stability at the Borders

The situation at the borders with neighboring countries remains stable, indicating a normalization of border crossing processes.

The lack of queues at the checkpoints points to improved conditions for crossing, which may be a result of reduced regional tension and better coordination between border services. This could positively impact Ukraine's economic ties with neighboring states, as well as the movement of people, particularly in the context of resuming normal travel and trade.
