The queue at the border in Lviv region has sharply increased: how to avoid long waits.
In the Lviv region, the traffic at crossing points has noticeably increased - there are 40% more people wishing to cross the border than usual. On weekends, this load increases by another 16%.
The spokesperson for the 7th Carpathian Border Guard Unit, Svitlana Burda, reported this in a comment to Novyny.LIVE. The busiest crossing points remain in Krakivets and Shehyni, while Smilnytsia and Nyzhankovychi remain the least busy.
What to do to avoid standing at the border
Burda recommends travelers who do not want to waste time in queues to choose less busy crossing points. She also advises planning border crossing for late evening or early morning hours.
She also reported that the 'Krakivets' crossing point has resumed operation after a temporary suspension due to problems with the electric transformer. Border guards emphasize that when crossing the border, it is important to monitor operational information and plan trips in advance.
