The club is preparing for its debut in the Champions League group stage, where it will face formidable opponents like Manchester City, Tottenham, and Atletico Madrid.
The management of Bodø/Glimt has decided to use its recent successes to realize this project, and 192 out of 193 club members supported the idea of a new 10,000-seat stadium to replace the current arena.
Since 1966, the club has been playing at the Aspmyra stadium, which has a capacity of 8,000 spectators.
The new management is confident that the new arena is a step into the future.
The construction cost will be £90 million, and Bodø/Glimt is expected to start hosting matches there within two years. The stadium has been named Arctic Arena.
This is a new chapter in the club's history that will be remembered.
