Hakim Ziyech transfers to Wydad: former Chelsea star returns to Morocco.
Ziyech's transfer to Wydad
According to The Sun: Hakim Ziyech has signed a deal for a free transfer to the Moroccan club Wydad Casablanca, ending five months without a club.
The former Chelsea player is now representing the Moroccan national team, having changed his international allegiance from the Netherlands, for which he played in the U20 and U21 teams.
The midfielder joined Chelsea for the 2020/21 season...
This transfer marks a new stage in Ziyech's career, who has long been without playing time. For Wydad, it also provides an opportunity to strengthen the team with an experienced player who can help achieve new heights in the national championship and African tournaments. We hope that during his performances for the new club he can showcase his potential and return to the highest level of football.
