Sheffield United plans to bring back Chris Wilder: details of the sensational decision.
Sheffield United considers bringing back Chris Wilder
According to The Sun: Sheffield United may bring back Chris Wilder just 87 days after his dismissal, according to press reports.
The 57-year-old Wilder was replaced by Ruben Selles, the former Southampton coach, in June this year when the team failed to return to the Premier League.

After a dramatic goal from Tony Watson in the May playoffs that lifted Sunderland, Sheffield United remained in the Championship for a second consecutive year.
Although Sheffield United accumulated a record 92 points, two of them were deducted due to EFL rule violations.
However, Selles is under enormous pressure as the team has lost its first six matches. According to The Star, the club has already reached out to the former coach.
Currently, Sheffield United sits at the bottom of the Championship, having zero points and a goal difference of -11 after a humiliating defeat to Ipswich of 0-5.
The club also exited the Carabao Cup in the first round, losing to Birmingham 1-2, and has failed to score a single goal in its last four matches.
If Wilder returns, it will be his third term as coach at his hometown club, where he also played earlier.
He was first appointed in 2016 when the team was in League One, and he led them to the Premier League within three years.
In his first season in the Premier League, he secured the team a ninth-place finish, but left the club in 2021 when it was at the bottom.
After short stints at Middlesbrough and Watford, Wilder returned to Sheffield United in December 2023, but was unable to save the team from relegation from the Premier League in the same season.
