Chef Dom Taylor has decided to close his restaurant Marvee's Food Shop in London due to 'unforeseen circumstances' just three months after its opening.The restaurant, which opened in May this year, was located in the music and entertainment area of UNDR near Portobello Road. Dom Taylor became well-known for winning the show 'Five Star Kitchen: Britain's Next Great Chef' on Channel 4.In his Instagram post, Taylor stated: 'Due to unforeseen circumstances, Marvee's Food Shop at UNDR will soon close, after some fun this carnival weekend.' Previously, the chef held a residency at the Good Front Room restaurant in the Langham Hotel in London. Marvee's menu offered Caribbean classics such as Bammy and Festival with various fillings, but critic David Ellis rated the restaurant three stars, noting that 'the pork is quite nice, but maybe not much more than that.'At the end of May, Dom Taylor decided to close his restaurant Marvee's Food Shop in London due to 'unforeseen circumstances' just three months after its opening. The restaurant had generated some interest among Londoners and critics, but unfortunately, the closure came as a surprise to many.
