If you are preparing for the holidays or just want to treat your loved ones, this offer will be appreciated. Morrisons has reduced the price of various chocolate boxes from £7 to £4.50.

Currently, Tesco is also lowering prices on certain boxes, with the possibility of aligning prices with Morrisons.

Previously, the price for 550-gram boxes was £7, but now some customers may save even more.

Clubcard holders can purchase Cadbury's Heroes and Roses sets for £5.25.

This is not the best deal, as Nestle Celebrations and Quality Street are available for just £4.50.

This is a great deal considering that similar boxes were sold for £7 in other supermarkets like Sainsbury's and Iceland.

The online store Ocado is also offering the same price, but you can buy two sets for just £10.

Asda has lowered the price of its 550-gram Celebration and Heroes boxes to £5.24.

Unlike Tesco, you don't need to be a loyalty program member to take advantage of this offer.

Other offers

Other supermarkets, like Aldi and Lidl, have yet to announce prices for these popular items for 2025.

The Tesco offer applies to beloved Quality Street chocolates known for their assortment of colorful sweets in purple packaging.

Among the flavors are Strawberry Delight and Chocolate Toffee Finger, traditional treats from the Quality Street collection from Nestle.

Roses are also available, named after Dorothy Cadbury's favorite flowers.

The blue packaging of Roses contains flavors such as Hazel Whirl, Golden Barrel, Strawberry Dream, Caramel, Country Fudge, Signature Truffle, Tangy Orange Creme, and pieces of Cadbury Dairy Milk.

How to save on chocolate

We all love a bit of chocolate now and then, but there’s no need to spend a lot on your favorite sweets.

Consumer reporter Sam Walker shares tips on how to cut costs…

Choose your own brand – if you don’t mind what it tastes like, opt for the supermarket’s own label chocolate.

Compare prices – if you found your favorite type in a supermarket, check if it can be bought cheaper elsewhere.

Websites like Trolley.co.uk allow you to compare product prices across all the major chains to find the best deal.

Look for yellow stickers – supermarket staff often place yellow, and sometimes orange or red stickers on discount items.

This is usually done when a product is nearing its expiration date or the packaging is slightly damaged.

Buy in bulk – chocolate is often cheaper per 100g in larger packs.

So, if you have a craving and plan to buy a lot of chocolate, go for the bigger packets.

Cadbury's Heroes are also available at a reduced price, including tasty chocolates like Crunchie Bits, Twirl, Wispa, Dinky Decker, Fudge, Dairy Milk Caramel, and classic Dairy Milk miniatures.
