Chelsea fans accuse Sky Sports of amplifying anti-owner chants.
Tension between Chelsea fans and owners
According to The Sun: Chelsea fans are convinced that Sky Sports 'turned on' microphones after critical shouts directed at the club's owners. Tension is rising between supporters and the new management — Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali, especially after the departure of Enzo Maresca and the appointment of Liam Rosenior.
Rosenior, who took up the new position after a stint at the French club Strasbourg, was present at Craven Cottage.
“We have been enduring this for a long time, but it seems the voice of the viewers remains unheard,” said one fan.
Fans are going through difficult times, and this is evident from their shouts in the stands, indicating deep issues in the relationship between the club and its supporters. The coach's dismissal and the newly appointed specialist could become turning points, but whether the club will overcome the crisis and improve communication with the fans will only be determined by time.
