Chelsea have aced transfer window with sale of the century totalling almost £500million – and still four more to sell.
The final days of the transfer window for Chelsea
According to The Sun: Chelsea has only a few days left until the transfer window closes, and several important deals are still pending.
The fate of Nicolas Jackson, Christopher Nkunku, Raheem Sterling, and Ben Chilwell remains uncertain as the transfer window closes on Monday evening.
Joao Felix is now in Saudi Arabia
Carney Chukwuemeka has moved to Borussia Dortmund
Goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic has completed his move to Bournemouth
Despite these uncertainties, Chelsea has already conducted an impressive number of deals this summer.
To date, the club has spent around half a billion pounds, but thanks to smart sales of most players, the net spending is practically zero.
Plans for the Champions League
With their new signings, Chelsea is likely ready to register all their newcomers for the Champions League. Today, the team will find out who their opponents will be in the group stage.
When they submit their 'A' list of 25 players next Tuesday, it will include Joao Pedro, Jamie Thetens, Liam Delap, Jorel Hato, and Estevao.
This will be a significant relief following UEFA's stern warning that expenditure on the 25-man squad must not exceed last year's budget of the conference league-winning team.
Chelsea were fined £26.7 million in July for breaching financial rules, with another £51.2 million contingent on meeting certain targets.

With nearly zero net spending and £85 million in prize money from the Club World Cup, Chelsea stands a chance of meeting these targets.
This also puts them in a good position regarding the Premier League's profit and sustainability rules.
Conclusions on Transfers
Thanks to the sale of Noni Madueke and unwanted players like Joao Felix and Kieran Dewsbury-Hall, Chelsea has received praise even from critics.
Yesterday, Argentine defender Aaron Anselmino joined Chukwuemeka in Dortmund on a season-long loan.
When Chelsea started spending on newcomers, particularly Pedro and Thetens, it was hard to imagine how they would make room for everyone in a squad that needed to reduce spending compared to last year's successful European team.
Christopher Nkunku's payments may soon disappear from Chelsea's budget
Nicolas Jackson is likely to find a new club this week
However, Raheem Sterling is likely to remain at the club only on loan
Ben Chilwell has not received significant interest yet
Chelsea has actually managed this, but it may lead to registering fewer than 25 players.
While Romeo Lavia and Josh Achempon may be included in the 'B' list of young and local players, Chelsea could easily do without having only 22 in the 'A' list.
The annual cost for Pedro, Thetens, Delap, Hato, and Estevao, all expected in the Champions League squad, is around £60 million.
The transfers of Madueke to Arsenal and the deal with Dewsbury-Hall to Everton saved up to £30 million from these costs.
Exclusion of Mykhailo Mudryk due to doping allegations also means he is no longer on the list, saving around £17 million in annual costs and salaries.
Jadon Sancho's salary during his loan from Manchester United was £7.5 million last season, so his absence also leads to significant savings.
With increasing departures and loan deals for conference league players, the cost of new signings mentioned above seems to be covered.
Sterling and Chilwell did not play in the conference league as they were loaned out.
And hardly anyone of them will leave the club without a significant portion of their current salaries — £325,000 a week for Sterling, £200,000 a week for Chilwell.
However, Chelsea's main priority remains to find new teams for Jackson and Nkunku.
If the club is serious about late transfers for Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United and Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig, they need to free up the budget.
The annual costs for Nkunku exceed £20 million, while Jackson's are around £11 million.
Therefore, Chelsea must sell at least one, preferably two, to make room for Garnacho and Simons.
