Evacuation of Chelsea Players Due to Fears of Chlorine Leak
According to The Sun: The players and staff of Chelsea's first team were forced to leave the main building of the training facility in Cobham due to concerns about a possible chlorine leak. The alarm was triggered in the pool area of the complex.
Emergency services from Surrey quickly arrived at the scene.
“We are responding to the situation and will ensure the safety of all those present,” said a spokesperson for the service.
Staff evacuated the area, following all necessary safety precautions.
Incidents of this nature at professional sports team training facilities raise significant concern, as safety is a priority for clubs and their staff. Such measures, while they may seem abrupt, indicate readiness to respond in emergency situations. We hope that the situation is resolved without serious consequences for Chelsea's players and staff.
