This fight will take place two months before Eubank’s planned rematch with Benn, following their tense battle in April, where Eubank came out victorious.

Eubank is targeting titles in the 168-pound weight category, regardless of who holds them after the upcoming fight.

Chris noted in a conversation with Sky Sports:

“This is a big fight, and I’m watching it closely. After I beat Conor Benn for the second time, in 2026 I would like to share the ring with either of these two men - Canelo Alvarez or Terence Crawford.'

“I am here to fight big names. I want the biggest fights that the fans are really interested in. And Canelo Alvarez is the most popular name in the sport today.'

Eubank, who turns 36 this month, won by unanimous decision at the Tottenham stadium after 12 classic rounds.

This fight took place 35 years after two famous bouts between their fathers, which ended with a victory for Eubank Sr. and a draw.

Eubank stated:

“We have a new game plan, new skills that we are going to use.'

“I signed up for this. My goal has always been to make the fight so grand that fans want to see a rematch.'

“The fight lived up to all expectations, and now we will step back into the ring in the coming months.”

Eubank exceeded the weight limit of 160 pounds by 0.05 pounds, for which he paid a fine of £375,000. There were also restrictions on weight over 170 pounds the morning of the fight, which raised concerns about rehydration.

Both boxers were hospitalized after the fight, as Eubank suffered from severe dehydration.

Thus, the weight limit of 160 pounds and the rehydration conditions remain in place for the rematch.

Eubank said:

“I am truly excited. This is one of those fights that don't happen often, interest in such disputes is hard to develop.'

“Many times big fights can disappoint. We did not let down. We put it all on the line, the fans appreciated it, and now they can see us again in a few months.”

Before the rematch with Conor Benn, Eubank is actively monitoring his fighting schedule. His future goals already include a matchup with one of the best fighters of today, as recognition and popularity become key in this fight for titles. Both boxers have in mind new strategies and approaches that will help enhance their fighting skills.

This fight will undoubtedly elevate excitement in the boxing world and once again attract fans' attention. Whether Eubank can realize his ambitions and meet the big names that are currently dominating the ring remains to be seen.
