Christian Eriksen is close to transferring to Wolfsburg
According to The Sun: Denmark's footballer Christian Eriksen is on the verge of signing a contract with Wolfsburg. According to sources, the 33-year-old player has already agreed to the terms of the deal and is ready to undergo a medical examination.
GettyEriksen left Manchester United at the end of last season and is currently a free agent. The Danish publication Tipsbladet reports that he has already arrived in Germany to finalize the deal.
This transfer will allow Eriksen to reunite with other Danes on the team, including Peter Christiansen, who will head the sporting department of Wolfsburg starting in the summer of 2024.
Wolfsburg has already signed several Danish footballers, so Eriksen will join his national teammates: Andreas Skov Olsen, Jesper Lindstrøm, Joakim Mæhle, and Jonas Wind at Volkswagen Arena.

Eriksen last played on the field in June, when he helped Denmark's national team secure victories over Northern Ireland and Lithuania. Earlier this summer, he was offered to move to Wrexham but declined, also ignoring a proposal from Burnley of the Premier League.
