Egg prices will rise in autumn: what factors will influence the increase.
According to inkorr.com: In autumn, prices for eggs in Ukraine may rise due to the end of seasonal supplies from small producers. However, large poultry farms plan to maintain production at the same level. Experts note that egg prices will depend on the cost of feed and corn harvests.
Maxim Hopka, analyst of the 'Ukrainian Agri-business Club': 'When it becomes clear what the price of feed is, then the further dynamics of egg price changes will depend on this.'
Accurate forecasts of egg prices can only be made at the end of October, when data on corn harvests become available. It is worth noting that in 2025, the influence on price dynamics may also be related to the expected harvest. Last year, the increase in egg prices was caused by a shortage of feed for poultry due to poor harvests.
Summary
In the Ukrainian egg market, prices are likely to rise in the second half of September due to the end of supplies from small producers. However, much will depend on feed prices and corn yields, which will be known by the end of the year. The situation may affect the economic indicators of poultry farms and, accordingly, consumer prices.
