According to inkorr.com: Ukrainian citizens have been provided with information about the prices of potatoes, onions and cucumbers in November. According to data from the Minfin portal and the Capital Market, prices vary depending on the point of purchase.

Potatoes

At Auchan supermarkets, young potatoes are sold for 25 hryvnias per kilogram, at Megamarket for 18.60 hryvnias, and at Novus for 29.99 hryvnias. On average, the price of potatoes in stores ranges from 16.95 to 25 hryvnias per kilogram, while at markets it is between 11 to 13 hryvnias.

Onions

In supermarkets, the cost of white onions ranges from 20.90 to 45.76 hryvnias per kilogram, yellow onions cost from 7.49 to 14.10 hryvnias, and red onions range from 17.20 to 29.99 hryvnias. At markets, prices are significantly lower - from 7 to 9 hryvnias per kilogram.

Cucumbers

At local markets in Odesa, cucumbers can be purchased at a price from 100 to 110 hryvnias per kilogram, while in supermarkets the prices are higher - from 121.05 to 169.90 hryvnias per kilogram.

 

Earlier, we noted that food prices have sharply increased due to blackouts and attacks from Russia.

In November, vegetable prices in Ukraine remained high both in supermarkets and markets. This indicates constant pressure in the food market, caused by a number of factors, including external circumstances affecting the country’s economy. Under such conditions, it is important for consumers to be attentive to pricing policies and choose the most favorable offers for purchases.
