Ukrainian Wheat Prices Hold Steady: Current Cost Per Ton Revealed.
Wheat Market Conditions in Ukraine
According to Novyny.live: Prices for wheat in Ukraine remain stable, with demand staying strong due to limited supply. Second-class wheat is trading between 9,600 and 10,800 hryvnias per ton. Meanwhile, feed wheat prices range from 9,000 to 10,100 hryvnias per ton.
As of March 13, third-class wheat is selling at 9,562 hryvnias per ton—an increase of 149 hryvnias compared to March 4. At port locations, grain prices vary from $213 to $220 per ton. Overall, wheat demand remains consistent despite some price fluctuations.
Other Grain Crops
Additionally, rapeseed for export is priced between 25,600 and 25,900 hryvnias per ton in Ukraine. As for feed corn, its price in the southern regions has reached 10,300 hryvnias per ton. The Ukrainian grain market is active, yet price stability continues to be a key factor in this sector.
The consistent pricing of wheat and other grains highlights the importance of Ukraine's agricultural sector to the economy, even amid ongoing challenges. Low supply combined with active demand suggests a need for agricultural support and production investments to ensure the country's food security in a shifting global market. The situation at ports also remains critical, as exports serve as a major revenue source for farmers.
