Diet Cherry Coke is returning to Ukraine after 7 years: where to buy.

According to The Sun: The famous beverage manufacturer is bringing back a beloved flavor after seven years of absence.

Consumers can purchase cans or bottles of this nostalgic drink at one of the largest supermarket chains, but only for a limited time.

Diet Cherry Coke first appeared in the USA in early summer this year

Diet Cherry Coke, which was launched in the '80s, will be back on supermarket shelves in the UK on October 8 for the first time since 2018.

The drink features nostalgic packaging that recreates the atmosphere of years gone by.

Tara Byrnes, senior brand manager for Diet Coke in the UK, mentioned that the company 'listened to consumers and is very excited to announce the return of Diet Cherry Coke.'

Diet Cherry Coke has already returned to America this summer.

The drink is available exclusively at Tesco stores nationwide starting today.

Tara added:

“The return of this retro-iconic drink is a tasty memory that fans have been hoping for.”

 

“Some love the classics, and some - new flavors; for some, this little ritual with cherry flavor will further highlight their tastes.”

 

“Returning exclusively for a limited time, the flavor you love, cherry, is back on sale – but don’t miss your chance!”

The new flavor is available at Tesco starting today, October 8

The drink is offered in packs of 24 cans of 300 ml, as well as in bottles of 500 ml and 2 liters.

‘Really Love It’

The news of the return surfaced on social media, where consumers left hundreds of comments, including on the Facebook page of Newsfoods UK.

One person wrote:

“I love Cherry Coke.”

Another noted:

“I need this drink back.”

However, a third commentator was not as enthusiastic about its return, stating:

“Not great!”

On TikTok, Coca-Cola fans also voiced their opinions.

One of them wrote:

“It feels like something majestic. It’s so delicious.”

 

“I can’t stop, and I’m really sad that it’s a limited version.”

It is important to note that the return of Cherry Coke occurred just weeks after the launch of a new Coca-Cola flavor, which also received mixed reviews.

Coca-Cola Orange Cream cans appeared on the shelves, generating significant buzz among consumers.

A post on social media featured two photos of orange cans with the caption:

“Coca-Cola Orange Cream spotted in Home Bargains!”

However, opinions among consumers were divided, many commenting:

“Just leave everything as it is.”

Another added:

“They just taste like Vanilla Coke.”

The revival of Diet Cherry Coke's sales has become a test for the company in bringing back popular flavors.
