Departure Abroad for Men Aged 18-22: What the Border Guard's Decision Depends On.
The Issue of Young Men Leaving the Country
According to inkorr.com: The departure of boys aged 18 to 22 abroad depends on the decision of the border guard at the checkpoint.
As reported by 'Khvylia', lawyer Serhii Starenkyi spoke about this on Kyiv-24.
According to him, the border guard may refuse to cross the border, explaining their decision with specific reasons.
Starenkyi added that it is possible to challenge such a decision in court, but this process is often lengthy and does not always yield the desired results due to legal difficulties. In case of refusal, young men must remain on military registration.
Necessary Documents for Departure
The lawyer also emphasized the importance of properly prepared documents for leaving the country. To obtain permission to cross the border, a passport and military ID are required.
'The right to leave does not exempt one from the constitutional duty - to defend their country and adhere to the legislation regarding military registration. Therefore, young men need to provide their data to the TCK and have documents confirming their status on the unified military register,' - the lawyer stressed.
Thus, correct document preparation and the relevance of military registration can help avoid refusal to leave the country, provided that all requirements are met.
The article emphasizes the importance of appropriate documents and adherence to legal norms for young men leaving the country. The relevance of military registration data can significantly affect the situation regarding border crossing.
