Former UFC Champion Claims McGregor's Career is Over: What's Happening.
According to The Sun: A UFC employee has sternly told Conor McGregor that his sporting career is 'over.'
The notorious one hasn’t stepped into the octagon since he broke his left leg during his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier in July 2021.

Former two-weight champion and UFC commentator Daniel Cormier believes McGregor's days as a fighter are overGETTY
McGregor's Return Plans
The Irishman planned to return to the cage last June but withdrew from the match against Michael Chandler due to a broken left pinky.
Now, McGregor is aiming to return at the UFC White House event, which will take place in June next year.
Cormier's Doubts on Return
However, former heavyweight champion and commentator Daniel Cormier is sure that the 'mystical mac' will not return to fighting. On the Club Shay Shay show, he commented on the possibility of McGregor's return:
“Dude, it’s over. This man is not in his right mind.”
Cormier believes that the lifestyle chosen by the former champion, as well as his significant bank account, will keep him from returning to the octagon.
He added:
“He has made too much money; he went from plumbing to selling alcohol for 500 million dollars.”
Despite the uncertainty surrounding McGregor's return, this issue continues to concern a certain part of the global MMA fanbase.
McGregor's Statements
But Cormier believes that McGregor's statements are merely a desperate attempt to stay in the spotlight. He said:
“Conor keeps saying he wants to fight, and everyone reacts to it.”
“But he wants to stay relevant; he wants to stay in the news; he wants fame, being Conor McGregor, without the necessity of being Conor McGregor.”
“It's really sad because when he was a star, I'm sure you watched UFC more than ever because he knew how to sell fights.”
If McGregor does return, his next fight will be his first since he was found civilly liable for assaulting Nikita Handa in a Dublin hotel in December 2018.
McGregor appealed the civil ruling made by the Dublin Supreme Court but lost his case in July.
Currently, many UFC fans are following news about a possible McGregor return, hoping for his return to the octagon. However, as Cormier confirms, the situation looks ambiguous, highlighting the difficulties the MMA legend faces in adapting to a new stage of his life.
