Changes in Serie A match plans
According to The Sun: The leadership of the Italian Serie A has decided to abandon the idea of holding matches abroad. The clubs of the top division in Italy agreed to allow AC Milan to play its home match against Como, scheduled for February 18, in Perth, Western Australia.
This game will take place on the same day as the Winter Olympics, complicating the organization of the event at the San Siro stadium.
“Given the current situation, we cannot organize a match in another country”
Thus, the match will become an important event for fans not only in AC Milan's homeland but also abroad, at a new venue for them. This decision highlights the club's adaptability in the face of modern challenges, as well as showing the main priorities in planning sporting events.
