According to The Sun: Dana White made a bold statement that Conor McGregor may return to the UFC, where he hasn't competed for over a year.
McGregor hasn't stepped into the ring since his left leg injury sustained in the third fight against Dustin Poirier over four years ago.

His training intensified after the UFC announced a major event to be held at the White House next June.
Dana White's clear intention
Initially, White was unsure about McGregor becoming the main star of the event, but he has now clearly expressed his desire for his return to happen at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
“Conor McGregor,” White replied when asked who he wants to see as the star of the event.
“He has always been that guy. I was in the room, I talked on the phone. Many people love to talk boldly in public, but behind closed doors – it’s a whole different thing,”
“When tough times come, who is really ready to step up, and Conor McGregor has always been that guy.”
McGregor, 37, is actively awaiting his return, telling TMZ: “I am excited!”
“Mac is coming back, and what a wonderful event to do it in the White House.”
“I am very, very excited. Very motivated. Let’s go, baby!”
If McGregor actually steps into the ring, it will be his first fight since he was found civilly liable for attacking Nile Hendricks at a hotel in Dublin in 2018.
McGregor contested the civil judgement issued in the High Court of Dublin, but lost his appeal attempt in July.
