Young darts player faced defeat
According to The Sun: Mitchell Laurie, a 15-year-old student from Scotland, failed to enter the history of sports during the World Darts Championship competition. The boy aimed to become the youngest winner among adults, but his dream did not come true. Having wanted to lead with a score of 3-0, he suffered defeat from 32-year-old Dutchman Jimmy van Schie, who won the next six sets.
“It was a tough moment for me, but I will learn from this failure and come back stronger,” Laurie said.
This match was an important event, but it did not end as the young talent had hoped. Although the fight for the title was unsuccessful, his courage and determination deserve respect.
