David Beckham and Gary Neville have sold part of their shares in Salford City to the AIG business group, signing a long-term agreement. The team is currently in playoff positions in League Two and has already undergone management changes earlier this year.“Our goal is to improve performance and achieve the objectives we set for ourselves,” said one of the owners.Beckham and Neville completed the club buyout deal in May, joining several Manchester United legends who have become owners of Salford City. The share sale marks a new stage in the club's development, as the partnership with AIG may bring additional resources and expertise to achieve the set goals. By changing the ownership structure, the club hopes to improve performance and stability on the field.
