According to inkorr.com: The Directorate of Military Procurement has uncovered a fraudulent scheme for supplying low-quality butter to the National Guard of Ukraine. The head of the company planned to sell 250 tons of oil that did not meet the standards for millions of hryvnias. She entered into contracts for product delivery using forged guarantee documents.
'The suspect, in order to profit from the counterfeit oil, used fake guarantee documents regarding product quality. Under this scheme, the official planned to supply 250 tons of low-quality oil to the soldiers for tens of millions of hryvnias,' the SBI noted.
The director has been charged with fraud and the use of forged documents. The question of preventive measures regarding her is being considered. If convicted, the woman faces up to 12 years in prison with asset confiscation.
The State Bureau of Investigation is taking measures to compensate the state for damages caused by violations in military procurement. Other facts of supplying low-quality products for the military are being investigated by the specialized prosecutor's office of the Odesa region.
The entrepreneur has been charged with fraud and the use of forged documents regarding the supply of low-quality oil for the National Guard of Ukraine.
