Some Ukrainians will receive 1500 hryvnias quarterly for sports activities.
The government of Ukraine has made an important decision to support combatants and individuals with disabilities caused by the war. The state will now provide quarterly assistance of 1500 hryvnias for paying for physical culture and sports activities.
This was announced by government representative Taras Melnychuk.
According to the adopted procedure, funds will be allocated exclusively for cashless payment for services from registered sports service providers in Ukraine.
It is important to note that services must be provided by legal entities or individual entrepreneurs with the appropriate seller category code 7941.
According to the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, combatants and individuals with disabilities caused by the war will be able to apply for financial support through the 'Diia' app.
Funds will automatically be transferred to the veteran's special account quarterly for one year and can be used for visiting gyms, pools, and other facilities for physical culture and sports.
The Ministry of Veterans Affairs plans to start accepting applications in January.
A detailed mechanism for participating in the program will be published later.
We also remind that veterans will be facilitated in obtaining grants for their own business.
