Young doctors will receive 200 thousand hryvnias: who can apply for the payment from 2025.
From 2025, young doctors who complete their internship will have the opportunity to receive assistance from the state if they choose to work in rural areas or on the front lines. The amount of this financial assistance will be 200 thousand hryvnias. To qualify, they will need to find a suitable vacancy and sign a contract for at least three years.
Why this is important and how it will work
The assistance program for young doctors is aimed at supporting medical professionals who choose to work in hard-to-reach or dangerous areas. This can significantly ease their adaptation and provide greater stability in their future career choices. Additionally, this incentive may encourage medical specialists to participate in important medical projects and develop the healthcare sector in Ukraine.
