State Department: Blinken will not attend the "Ramstein" meeting in Germany.

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken canceled his visit to Germany, where he was supposed to participate in the Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting in the "Ramstein" format. This was reported by U.S. State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller at a briefing in Washington.
It is noted that the rescheduling is related to the postponement of President Joe Biden's trip to Germany and Angola due to hurricanes "Milton" and "Helen".
The State Department also noted that Blinken will instead travel to Vientiane to participate in the East Asia Summit and the ASEAN - U.S. Summit. There he will discuss geopolitical issues, including the crisis in Burma, the situation in the South China Sea, stability in the Taiwan Strait, and Russia's aggression against Ukraine.
