Somewhere 315 km/h. Milevskiy recalled night races with Shevchenko.
Former Dynamo Kyiv and Ukraine national team footballer Artem Milevskiy shared stories about his relationships with Andriy Shevchenko and Turkish footballers. The first story relates to the night races with Andriy Shevchenko after a match against Barcelona. Milevskiy noted that Shevchenko's driver overtook him at a speed of about 315-316 km/h, which impressed the footballer. The second story recounts the negative reaction of Turkish players to Milevskiy when he took three cans of beer after a victorious match. The club management even called Milevskiy to the carpet and reprimanded him.
Artem noted that after such an incident he did not befriend the Turks and refused to consider Turkey his country. He also reminded that he played for Gaziantepspor for three months and participated in 9 matches. These stories illustrate the complicated relationships that can arise in the world of football, even off the field.
