Warriors of the 25th Separate Airborne Dnipro Brigade rescued a defender who was captured by the Russians with the help of a drone. The rescue video was published by journalist Yuriy Butusov.

During the operation of their sector, the paratroopers' aerial reconnaissance noticed that the occupiers were holding a Ukrainian soldier captive.

The brigade reported that "they made him understand that their own were working with the Mavic: the first drop allowed the warrior to break free and run towards our positions, and the second stunned the enemy, depriving them of the opportunity to catch up with our soldier."

As a result, the warrior managed to reach Ukrainian positions.

Earlier, the Russians were ordered to surrender by a voice from the sky.

In addition, Ukraine has forbidden Russian prisoners of war from making phone calls.

Also, the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, appealed to the UN and the International Committee of the Red Cross regarding the possible execution of a Ukrainian prisoner by the occupiers.

Recall that the Bureau of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe decided to hold urgent debates on Ukrainian military and civilian individuals who are in Russian captivity.

The Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into a war crime committed by Russian occupiers in the Toretsk direction. According to preliminary information, three Ukrainian servicemen were shot from behind after they surrendered.
