London and the South win Racing League: how the team dominated the tournament

According to The Sun: “You are born to win, but to become a winner, you must plan to win, prepare to win, and expect to win,” noted American author Zig Ziglar.

This quote perfectly reflects the difference between the winners of the London and South teams in Thursday's Racing League and the other six competing teams.

Yes, I know I was the captain of the heroic winners, so you can consider that I say this with confidence.

However, it is not about me. I gathered a team of like-minded individuals who strive for success and live by high standards.

And that is absolutely true.

The opponents had their share of conflicts, and people like Jamie Osborn and Charlie Fellowes constantly complained about their trainers and jockeys, even about me!

My Saturday favorite

Confident in our victory, as we significantly outperformed the competitors in ratings and shortened the distance.

However, of course, each participant in the competition can only blame themselves.

Our victory became possible due to meticulous planning and trust in my assistants.

If the trainer received a task, he carried it out.

And when once asked to step in for a horse that could not start, they did it with dignity.

This happened on the last evening when the reigning champion Manxman was withdrawn from the race.

Ev Johnson Houghton stepped in for him and launched Francesco Baracca, finishing a splendid third.

This is not the first time Johnson Houghton has shown herself as an excellent team player. I thank her for that.

My trainers and jockeys wanted victory.

But, undoubtedly, the horses must be at the forefront, and London and the South had real stars.

At Yarmouth, Fantasy World proved he can be useful on soft ground, Jimmy Speaking showcased his talent during Chris Dwyer's performance, and Andalip with the team of Dan and Claire Kubler impressed everyone by winning at nine years.

He participated in four of the six races of the Racing League and deserves an award.

The Kublers took the Racing League very seriously and were rewarded.

They elevated Ziglar's words to a new peak.

That is why they achieved another important victory with Shamrock Bay at Chepstow, where Great Acclaim performed well under Johnson Houghton's direction after winning at Glorious Goodwood.

Cody Fire impressed with the young Jack Dais's game, who outplayed Charlie Hills again at Windsor, this contest fundamentally opens up opportunities for young jockeys.

I am happy that Jack got this opportunity. Jack Doughty also impressed, as did Hughie Morrison.

At Windsor, Nicola Currie did excellently on Siempre Arturo, another mentee of Kubler.

I guess Currie really received great chances from the Kublers before they struck a deal in Bahrain. Someone needs to support her.

It has not always been easy for her, but she has real talent.

In conclusion, Bragbor at Newcastle.

It was planned by George Scott weeks before the mile and a quarter race and won the award under the guidance of the superb Richard Kingscote, who is now in Hong Kong, leaving the Racing League top rider with a prize of 20,000 pounds sterling.

Interestingly, Scott and Fellowes are close friends, although the former is responsible for the latter's downfall.

Why Fellowes did not include Scott in his team, we will hardly ever understand.

This was a catastrophic mistake.

Thank you, Charlie, for getting rid of your incredibly talented mate.

Not everyone is thrilled about the Racing League.

Indeed, it is now fashionable to criticize it, and if you express dissatisfaction on social media, it becomes great clickbait.

Certainly, the team aspect did not receive the publicity everyone hoped for.

But the events in the Racing League are so competitive. And if bettors notice this, the reason is only in their linearity.

The betting markets of the Racing League have so many offers for bettors that it is ridiculous. But you need to understand the races and put in effort.

Unfortunately, many bettors want everything readily available in the modern world. That's our world now.

Once I nearly helped make Darryl Holland a champion jockey, but lost to Kieran Fallon.

The Racing League requires the same diplomacy and determination as being a jockey agent.

You make mistakes, feel frustration, but enjoy your successes.

The London and South teams this week are the best of the best.

Long live the League!
