Remote Housing Inspections Expanded to Areas of Possible Fighting.
According to inkorr.com: The Government of Ukraine has opened opportunities for the inspection of destroyed housing in areas where hostilities may occur. According to the information from the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development, this mechanism has already been in effect in regions of active fighting and is now being expanded to areas where the likelihood of conflict remains. Currently, 175 communities in nine regions can take advantage of this innovation.
'Today we are expanding the mechanism of remote inspections to areas of possible fighting. This means that even more people will be able to receive housing certificates for new homes, even if their housing was destroyed by Russian aggression. We are working so that every family can count on state support.'- noted Oleksii Kuleba, Deputy Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine and Minister of Community and Territorial Development.
How does the remote inspection take place?
Commissions use satellite images, drones, and photographs and videos to conduct housing inspections. Based on the gathered data, an act is prepared, which serves as the basis for obtaining a housing certificate for new housing.
The government resolution allowing the inspection of destroyed housing in areas of possible fighting opens the way for more people to receive assistance and housing certificates, even if their homes were destroyed in areas where potential conflicts are ongoing.
This innovation is an important step in restoring housing conditions for those affected by the war. The involvement of modern technologies allows for a more effective assessment of damages and provides support to those who need it most, contributing to the restoration of life in the country.
