50 thousand apartments will be built for Ukrainians: who will receive social housing.

Ukraine intends to ensure the construction of 50 thousand social apartments for citizens returning from other countries. This was announced by the head of the State Agency for Reconstruction, Serhiy Sukhomlyn. According to him, the ambitious program plans to build 6,200 apartments in the first stage, which will start this year. The main idea is to build 50,000 apartments in the central and western regions of Ukraine at the first stage. Sukhomlyn emphasized that social housing will be a strong argument for citizens to return to Ukraine. In addition to building housing, it is planned to improve the energy resilience of communities, replace the lighting system with energy-efficient one, and install solar power plants at critical infrastructure facilities.
