Not only tax: who else will gain access to the banking secrets of Ukrainians.
The Ukrainian government is working on a draft law that provides for the creation of a centralized register of bank accounts and safes of individuals. This innovation will allow the State Tax Service to simplify control over the movement of funds. Other government agencies will also have access to the register, but only by court decision.

Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko noted that these changes are necessary for joining the European payment zone and comply with European standards. Despite some specialists' concerns, the implementation of these innovations is a mandatory step for Ukraine.
Thus, Ukraine continues its path toward joining the European payment zone, adapting to European requirements and ensuring access for government structures to information about citizens' bank accounts.
