Up to 38 thousand hryvnias: Ukrainians in Poland can receive financial assistance.
Ukrainians were told how to receive financial assistance in Poland for Ukrainians with disabilities.
As reported by "Khvylya", this is discussed on the website of the Social Insurance Institution in Poland.
Thus, Ukrainian citizens with disabilities who have registered and reside in Poland can receive financial assistance.
The amount of the payment is determined individually and can range from 600 (about 6 thousand hryvnias) to 4 thousand zlotys (over 38 thousand hryvnias).
Assistance is provided to the following persons:
- Ukrainians who officially reside in Poland;
- persons with citizenship of European Union countries or legally registered in Poland with a permit for official employment;
- citizens who have disability assessment results (WZON conclusions) with a level of need for support through special points.
At the same Time, the level of need for assistance must be more than 70 points.
Depending on the number of points scored, assistance is assigned for different years:
- from 87 to 100 points - assistance is assigned in 2024;
- from 78 to 86 points - assistance is assigned in 2025;
- from 70 to 77 points - assistance is assigned in 2026.
From 2024, citizens with disabilities who scored at least 70 points can also receive assistance if their caretaker is entitled to receive care allowance after December 31, 2023.
The amount of payments depends on the number of points scored and can vary from 40 to 220%. Financial assistance is provided regardless of income received for disability.
To receive the payment, persons with disabilities must contact the WZON (disability assessment commission) and provide a medical certificate of disability and a sick leave certificate for people with disabilities. The WZON conclusion is issued for a period of just over seven years.
Next, you need to submit an application to the Social Insurance Institution in Poland electronically via:
- electronic banking services;
- the electronic services platform of the Social Insurance Institution in Poland;
- a lawyer who will help submit the application.
Recall, Ukrainians will receive additional payments from the UN GDP in March.
