Special Offer from Oschadbank

State-owned Oschadbank has unveiled a limited-time promotion for its customers, set to take effect on June 5, 2026. Under this campaign, the monthly limit for purchasing foreign currency will be capped at 50,000 hryvnias. Clients will be able to buy dollars or euros using their credit limit, with a grace period of up to 62 days. This initiative aims to help stabilize the foreign exchange market while offering residents greater flexibility amid fluctuating rates.

The National Bank's adjustments to the dollar rate can have ripple effects on Ukraine's broader economic landscape, as currency swings often mirror the health of the economy. Promotions like Oschadbank's may assist the public in navigating these new conditions by providing easier access to foreign currency in an environment of constrained supply and demand. Such measures could also help reduce informal currency transactions.
