According to inkorr.com: In Ukraine, a state program is being implemented that supports orphans and children deprived of parental care. It offers financial assistance for one year to those who are left without parental care. This initiative is an important support for the most vulnerable categories of children.
According to the Pension Fund, orphans and those deprived of parental care due to various circumstances, including the death of parents, serious illness, deprivation of parental rights, etc., have the right to receive assistance.
Special conditions are provided for children with disabilities, and payments may continue until the expiration of the period specified in the medical conclusion.
Amount of assistance
- Children under 6 years old - 6,407.50 UAH
- Children aged 6 to 18 years - 7,990.00 UAH
Additionally, children with disabilities may receive increased payments.
Reasons for suspension of payments
Funding may be terminated in the event of the guardian or caretaker being relieved of their duties, the employment of the child themselves, marriage before reaching adulthood, adoption, etc.
