Doroshchuk becomes Diamond League vice-champion for the second time in a row.
According to inkorr.com: Oleg Doroshchuk, a Ukrainian athlete, won a silver medal in the final of the Diamond League held in Zurich in the high jump. The 24-year-old athlete successfully cleared a height of 2.30 m, but all his attempts to jump higher at 2.32 m and 2.34 m were unsuccessful.
This is already the second consecutive silver for the Ukrainian in the Diamond League finals.
The gold in this discipline was won by Australian Olympic champion Hamish Kerr, who cleared the bar at a height of 2.32 m, which secured Doroshchuk's second place.
Recall that at the Diamond League stage in Brussels on August 22, Oleg Doroshchuk and Dmytro Nikitin participated in the high jump. Doroshchuk then won a gold medal, while Nikitin finished in 10th place.
According to the final results, Ukraine took 10th place in the overall medal tally, winning 5 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze medals.
The Diamond League final in Zurich was an important stage for Ukrainian athlete Oleg Doroshchuk, who once again demonstrated his skill by winning silver. This is already the second consecutive silver medal for the athlete at the Diamond League finals.
