According to inkorr.com: The State Tax Service reported that the current legislation provides for VAT exemption for several operations carried out for the benefit of persons with disabilities.
According to the STS, such operations include the supply of goods and services for the disabled and persons with limited capabilities, as well as the provision of goods and services by enterprises and organizations established by public associations of disabled individuals.
'According to the provisions of Article 197 of the Tax Code of Ukraine, exemption from VAT taxation is possible if the established requirements are met, particularly regarding the categories of goods/services, business entities, and funding sources,' emphasized the STS.
Operations that may be exempt from VAT include the supply of specialized goods, services of rehabilitation institutions, medical products, and other services provided for the disabled and children with disabilities.
The State Tax Service reminded about the existing VAT benefits for operations aimed at assisting persons with disabilities. These exemptions cover the supply of goods and services for disabled individuals and persons with limited capabilities, carried out by enterprises established by public associations of disabled people.
